Freakin moron ..........You should be slapped silly!!

You are Stupid for Racing on the Streets/Highways.
Take it to a track and then post something about it.

Oh yeah and this:

street racing when there is heavy traffic is no no
When there is no cars on the street .. 1am-5am... then it's all good as long as you know the risk of going to jail and getting your license suspended.
As for me, i know a friend of mine who owns private land. Lucky me

You even know that its not right. Which makes you even more stupid. Oh yeah lets add to the list of risks............Maybe you could kill somebody, a family trying to get to/from the airport...or even yourself(which i am honestly going to say I dont think you care).

I dont race on busy roads. There is nothing dangerous about driving on a open highway at 3am. Risk of me getting pulled over is mine to take, not yours. Other then that, i dont risk anybody's life.. because there is no other cars around me.. maybe animals crossing the road but o well.

CTGrey02

Theres still cars on the road at 3 am, not to mention people leaving the bars that are more inclined to take risks with a few drinks under their belt. Take it to a track. I have hundreds of time slips under my belt and I'm satisfied knowing what my car is capable of. You don't need to prove it to every idiot on the road.

Let's just say i have common sense to know when to race on the street and when not to. No, i didnt push my car to 150mph like some people here.. i think that's even more dangerous. There is no harms racing from 40mph on highway to 80mph when there is no cars nearby. DONT TELL ME YOU NEVER PUSHED YOUR CAR. It's same damn thing.

I have common knowledge and sense to know what's dangerous and what's safe. Driving on the highway 90mph+ is dangerous. Cutting people off during rush hour is dangerous. You guys dont have to lecture me about it. THANK YOU.

Oh and it is interstate. There is no bars or anything..just trees left and right with oncoming traffic lane seperated by huge median with grass.. one of those roads with Speed limit of 75mph.

BULLSHIT!! I'm sorry, but it's morons like you that really give young drivers a bad name. You should have your license pulled. There are damn well people on the road at 3 am. We see it time and time again people racing on all sorts of roads at all times of night and day. People still die.

Frankly, when it's someone like you, I have ZERO sympathy for you, as you have removed yourself from the gene pool. Yet, you are selfish enough to put your family through hell for the rest of their lives. The reason I pay $250 every few weeks or months is so that I can take my car and drive it balls out on a road course. THAT is responsible. If you can't handle driving responsible on public roads, then you don't deserve a license.

And spare me the crap that you're driving between 40-80 mph.

People like you REALLY piss me of.

PEOPLE DIE EVERY DAY................. Good god man. Get over it.

Best jump on those drunk people driving, or how about the drug users that drive. Even better how about old people that are no longer capable to drive but still do. What about Cell phone users, or people playing with their stereos, etc etc etc .........I say you boycot against everyone on the road so you can have the WHOLE DAMN ROAD TO YOUR LITTLE SELF.

I do agree street racing is wrong, (hyun is also a dumbass for even mentioning street racing) but there isn't one owner of a sports car or any other modified car that hasn't raced on the street, So stop swinging from your "I'm the all mighty" tree and keep the thread on topic.

The thread is a list of cars not to mess with correct?
Well to be honest IMO its a dead thread for the fact anyone can read car driver and see the times of cars against the MS3. considering you probably won't drive as good as a professional driver, i say the time slips are pretty accurate across the board. the list is long and worthless in mentioning.

Don't even get me started dude. I had to go to court for racing and reckless driving before because 2 other idiots where racing in front of me while I was driving 40 miles an hour in my mustang (They were blocking the road to run from a roll and my unhappy ass just happened to get stuck behind them) Another guy behind me in a trans am also got pulled over but the guys racing got away. There's race tracks for a reason. Use them. What your doing is illegal and there's no way to justify it. a 30 dollar entrace fee is a lot cheaper than jail time. (1 yr jail time and 3 years suspended liscence in CT - NYC they take your car)

I'm 34 and have NEVER raced on public roads, so please stop generalizing.

And I'm 110% all for requiring strict licensing and testing for all drivers over 70. The AARP lobby has been very successful at fighting such laws, but I think it will happen once more people die from old folks being behind the wheel whose reaction times are 10 seconds and can't see more than 20 yards.

Street racing, Ricer flyby's, speeding its all the same. PERIOD. if your going faster than the other cars around you, you have a better chance of having an accident. I can believe that you have never ran in a ORGANIZED street race, but com'on now. :D But then again i get the same reaction from people that don't believe i have NEVER tried an illegal drug, or any drug that wasn't prescribed to me by a doc.

Kudos to you, I wish i was more disciplined in doing so. I do not condone or particpate in ORGANIZED street racing, but yea, i have had a few run ins with people in other cars that were" cleaning out their injectors" at the same time i did mine. ;) By the way the elderly driving law needs to be implemented in Florida and AZ FIRST! damn i hate driving in those places.

Regardless. this thread sux, HYUN your a dummy. Get it through your thick head, street racing is illegal and if i were to catch you posting up about a upcoming street event, LET IT BE KNOW, i'll make sure the cops are there to hook you up. (thumb)

How about all cars. If you want to race take it to the track. There is no reason why someone should be put in a risk of being hurt because of your ignorance. I know many people that died from racing on the street. It isn't a joke, and if you think you are "invincible" and nothing can happen to you, you are dead wrong.

I thought your lancer evolution comparison was funny because there is a MS3 on utube that races one on the track and beats it with a 13.93 quarter mile time. Not to mention this thread is stupid, anyone responsible enough to buy an MS3 and pay insurance without mommy or daddy's help isn't going to drive their car like a maniac. And if you watch the video closely the evo gets the win light with a high 12 sec. time but we all know the clock in your lane doesn't start untill your car moves and you just get a sorry reaction time.

I've stoplight-run a bunch of cars, and most times I come out on top. I let off before they do usually, though.

My list? RSX's, three S2000's, some older vettes (gen 4 and 5, likely auto's by their shift sounds), an older M3 (two gen's ago), a WRX stock, and one modded (that was an even match, he admitted it was too close to call), a Porsche Cayenne non S, countless mustangs and camaros, from all generations, likely all stock though, so damn many civics you would not believe,...

The cars that have beaten me? Two STi's, one being a limited edition (thought it was a WRX, whoopsie), new gen Vettes, and the newest one by a few car lengths, a newer M3, an Audi S4 from two gens ago, I think, an SRT Magnum that sounded badass, a wicked SRT-4, Porsche Cayenne "S", ...there's more, but sometimes I just wasn't in the mood to play.

All in all, its a fast car, it gets people off of a rolling start REAL good, and it sucks at launching in Vegas' streets, due to the poor traction out here.

And, all rants, complaints, etc. about racing can be deposited via the "cancel" or "back" buttons on your computer screens.

You guys are worried about people street racing causing accidents, how bout 80 year olds that shouldn't have there license anymore or drunks, maybe high ass mother fuckers who's reaction time is slower then my dead aunts. How bout we wonder if the women putting her makeup on going to work. Really there is a time and place for everything, I can't take my car to the track and do 155 in it. I can on the highway tho without anyone else on the road. I know that there's alot of people out here that need to get the silver spoon out of there ass, people street race, its an amercian heritage, they always have and always will, unfortunetly like any other statistic there will be more casualtys because there are more people. There is no difference if your weaving in and out of traffic going to work or doing 100 in a 65 trying to get somewhere quicker your both wrong. I don't support it but its going to happen, my dad would street race his 63 Avanti and his dad his 37 ford, and most of your kids will race whatever there driving at the time, it's life and there's nothing you can do about it except have common sense, like I said there's a time and place for everything.

i consider myself more confident than cocky when it comes to driving. i quit 'racing' due to a not-so-crazy incident believe it or not. i was taking a normal '30mph' turn too fast and lost control a bit. every time i tried to re-align the car, it would go opposite of where i was steering. i finally came to a stop 1inch away from the curb, which was in the shoulder. i turned the car off, said my thanks to the big guy, and promised never to gamble on anything again except myself because that's the only thing i can control

track racing is fun/OK, organized/secluded street racing is risky, fast and the furious zig zagging through traffic and stopping the other cars so you can do a 20 mph roll on transited roads...is priceless...i mean, Stupid

The quote above is mine from my last post. I will separate it into three points so you can understand.

I talked about 3 types of racing:

1)track racing- You go to a track, pay and race. I support this.

2)organized/secluded street racing- You go to a road that people DONT transit, and race. Any accidents are up to the racers risk and no one but themselves are the ones at risk. I think its at least a good way to do it since they will do it anyways.

3)fast and the furious zig zagging through traffic and stopping the other cars so you can do a 20 mph roll on transited roads- You race your car through traffic transited roads. This is the one I said it was stupid and reckless.

So let me understand your logic: because you dont have the money or the 1/4 mile isnt close then its ok to put everyone else life at risk by street racing? so when you or the fool you are racing lose control and jump over to opposing traffic and kill a mother or father or son or daughter will you tell the family to chill the fck down?

That would be number 3) type of racing gentlemen.

How is that hard to understand? stop smelling paint cans buddy.

TheDutchGun,

Why the hell this thread isn't locked and stowed away is beyond me.

#2 on your list is STILL wrong, and STILL illegal no matter how you try to rationalize it. Sure you may have the illusion of it being secluded but public roads are just that.. public. Anyone can drive down them at 2-3 in the morning. Can you avoid a car moving 50 MPH toward you unexpectedly when your doing 120? Theres no way to justify that risk. A race track is just that. Off public roads where the chances of hurting people that aren't competing are slim to none. You pricks are gonna get someone else killed and to top it off your gonna get my insurance rates raised when you do it. Go drink clorox.

(iagree) not sure why this is still up. -_-a

I don't like calling people idiots, especially the ones I haven't met in person for the obvious reasons of not knowing them well enough. Thus, I won't be giving any of the friendly fellow forum members new nicknames this evening.

Looking at the few posts above, what I find interesting is that how someone says street racing is "stupid", yet manages to tell the others who are basically supporting the same idea to "chill the fck down." Since that individual also seems to support the consensus (street racing = bad), wouldn't that be like telling himself to (action mentioned above).

It's easy to write quick short replies of 'you suck only because you said blah blah', but please let us make a good use of the preview post button and make sure we're not saying two different things in a single post. BTW, reading these posts are more entertaining than watching the Oscars. *^_^*

You cant figure it out because you two have the same attention span of a 6 year girl...

you speak of intellect and maturity yet note I havent thrown one insult your way yet you deemed it necessary to throw some my way... You are just full of contradictions... here is your quote from your original post for which I was asking what proper manners are we supposed to be teaching...

I say, school individuals in the proper manner, you guys are like a parent who beats his kid with a wrench for doing something wrong...you are no different, show intellect and maturity

its a slow night on the forum if this thread is getting the biggest hits....

lol, well, number two is secluded as you stated, but you forgot the organized part of it...you see, i said secluded/organized, there's a slash that indicates the use of both words. Organization prevents such errors. For example, find a 1 + mile long dead end (construction) road in the middle of nowhere, no adjacent streets...have your peeps block the entrance to that useless road (its night, there isnt anyone that needs to enter, and if they do, they will be halted and the third following vehicle will be notified)...the third vehicle is the one that is behind the two racing, the one that is incharged of notifying the others if anything arises...also serves as a witness/referee. There a few other things like scanning the road to make sure its clear etc etc...to reduce any problems (not counting animals coming out of nowhere or driver error or whatever)

there you have it. #2.

p.s.Mocoso, I appologize, i read TheDoucheGun's comment and I got irritated.
Donas, I'll just have the smortz, thank you.
