Since we are in the age of placing warning sticker on everthing, because people have no common sense, I think that mazda should put a warning on all MS3's that read.

Warning! These vehicles are known to be highly addictive and could be hazardous to your wallet and your health.

I find myself driving to the store instead of walking now-bad for the health.

Instead of coming straight home I have to take a quick spin around the block which consists of the highway and the long way back home- bad on the wallet.

I'll walk over to the window to check out the hot red ride in the driveway and the women says. Well I know who is number one on your list now..lol.-Bad for the health

She likes the Ms3 better than her SUV which she just bought and wants to drive mine all the time because "it gets better gas mileage"-Bad on the wallet and bad on the health if refused.

Spent money on mods for the old MSP and now will be doing the same for the MS3- Bad on the wallet

Any other warning labels?

Same damn thing is happening to me. My wife initially said she wouldn't even ride in it b/c of the "starter car" thing. Then all of sudden she starts taking it everywhere! Bad thing about that is I just know she won't be as careful choosing parking spaces, etc. (nailbyt)

Warning: Every douche bag with altezza tail lights will bounce his car off the rev limiter at every traffic light in hopes to race you. You will have these same douchebags ride side by side with you for miles as they drop to 3rd gear and punch it, shift back to 5th...drop back beside you, drop to 3rd, punch it, shift back to 5th.

Warning: There is some sort of rivalry with the SRT-4 guys. I was not aware of it....but I was once circled by two of them at a gas station. Like I was in foreign gang turf or something.

Hilarious Post. I see those very same douchebags all the time. Some dude was doing it in a cobalt supercharged.

No doubt! She says I am taking your care to Wal-mart -I am like "the hell you are!" (bicker) Because she will park righ next to some redneck in a junky ass
4x4 that will ding the hell out of any car parked near it. It does tend to start a few arguaments..lol (help)

Welcome to the club! I've been dealing with that crap for almost 4 years now. Everything from Hondas to SRTs. Especially the SRTs. They think that with a stage 3 they can take anything, and I mean anything, on the road. I have some stories to tell.....(flame2)

FTR, I am used to it. When riding my Hayabusa, I had the exact same problem.

194mph, 160whp motorcycle vs. Honda Civic with an AEM CAI, cat back, and other assorted pep boys accoutrement. :shakes head:
I think they just want to see you take off. I usually shifted and stayed 2 feet in front of them. Then they'd fly passed me once we hit the speed limit. I'd do that so they could post on www.fastnfurious.com about their kill story. Then someone on a motorcycle forum somewhere would read it, post a link, and we'd all have a good chuckle about the exploits of little Johnny Monstertach.

The ms3 and the srt-4 should be featured in a new modernized rendered version of the West Side Story. I'll be Maria

I'll be Tony! You know something, I had thought the exact same thing. I figured my Jets/Sharks comment would have been abstract even for me. Thanks for proving me wrong smo0f.

My wife doesn't know how to shift a manual trans (my 13 year old says over my shoulder, "I do!" I'm training the next generation early), so I won't have that prob. Hell, she gets motion sickness from hard acceleration. You can guess how often she rides with me. She'll be sticking to her family van. Yee ha!!!!

Same for me man. I don't go looking that hard but I drive around a lot. I can't even remember the last time I was messed with.

I wish noone messed with me, I'm not a street racer. How much horsepower do Altezzas add anyways? Must be a bunch because they seem to make people into tough guys.

None, but I honestly think that some ricers think they do add power.

sadly, as much as I lament about these goofnagles, I used to be one.
Many moons ago, my first car was a fire breathing 1973 VW Beetle with an autobahn burning 53hp DP1600 motor. 0-60 was probably in the 20 second time with a terminal velocity of 85 mph if I was lucky. I had your standard beetle mods.. a $40 header and stinger pipe and a chrome air cleaner. I drove that thing like it was a Viper. I probably had a slew of people my age now looking at me and shaking their head. Had ricer been a term back then, I am sure it would have been applied....but in the german sense. Krauter?
Luckily, once I hit 18, I realized that straight line performance costed too much money. I concentrated on handling. My 83 Rabbit Gti probably made 110hp but rode like it was on rails. I guess my "ricer" stint was only 2 years in duration. The shame of it all is that I see ricers MY age now. Guys in their mid 30s driving around like idjits in a "brighter than vegas" pep boys sponsored race car. Usually with a baby seat in the back. (sssh)
