Would love to know if there's a Mazda accessory (not on their website) or aftermarket update to be able to hook up any old mp3 player to a Mazda5. TIA

I believe the AuxMod (http://www.sylfex.com/products/AuxMod/) has been installed by a few people and IIRC they are pretty happy with it.

Try doing a search in the Mazda5/Premacy section on "auxmod". You should be able to find install write ups & reviews.

I got tired of waiting for the auxmod "advanced" product and so ordered and got in very short time the basic version. I haven't even installed it yet so I suppose I can't recommend it yet, but I was convinced by everything I've read here enough to get one.
