In the new car picture, there is something on the driver side door. What is it, some kind of letters or numbers in chrome color. What does it says.

thats a 2.3 badge that comes on a regular mz3 sport model, I wonder if the dealer put that on.

it really sucks that we only have the red here in canada... i'd love to see the blue in person. from the pics, i really like it. too bad i didn't have an opportunity to take an MS3 for a 'test drive' before resigning from the dealership, that would have been so much fun :D

I got 8400 for the P5. It hit 72K miles as I went to the dealership.

So I read somewhere that I should try and obey a 600 miles break in period. Correct?

Yes break-in period is 600 miles... no high reving, keep speed and engine load varied throughout, no hard braking

Note that per owners manual it recommends a 30 second cool down on the turbo after spirited driving.... what the hell spirited means is left to interpretation... I try to keep the rpms below 3500 for the last mile to a stop

Galpin has em for MSRP... probably less if you play real hard to get.... not a long drive from W. LA... I can refer you to the guy that sold me mine but you may have to drive an hr north... PM me if yer interested (no I dont work for dealer or get anything out of the referal... )

No the 2.3 was there when I bought it... LOL maybe the dealership didn't even know it was a MS3 before they popped in the SIRIUS and stuck 2.3 on the side.

I bought mine at Puente Hills Mazda. They had a 3K dealer mark up that they quickly dropped after figuring out I knew exactly what I wanted OTD.

Tavarua, the selling price we reached was 26,300 after TTL. I ended up financing about 20K after trade in and a small 2K down payment.

they were gonna be awd cars, the chassis from the mazdaspeed6 but it would have put a lot of weight to the mazdaspeed3 so they left it fwd and is one of the best fwd cars in the world...lol

DUDE!!! I just saw this after I sent you a PM - HA! Did you trade in your P5 modded, or did you remove anything? There's a black mica MS3 on the lot here in El Paso, and I've been considering trading in the P5. Looks like you got a good amount for your trade. Congrats man!!!!

PM'd you back Will! I kinda took some stuff off... like the wheels and exhaust. But I did trade it in with the CAI, MSP seats, AutoExe front lip... I also had MSP wheels on it. The dealership thought it was really nice ;)

Go talk to the dealership man... I bet they can hook you up. Especially with all that desert money you have now! haha

i got a sport msrp 22835, homelink mirror msrp 250, and wheel lock msrp 40 all on mazdausa website, and thats what they sold it to me for!

Sorry dont mean to hijack you there bud, cant wait to see it park next to mine and everyoen else that comes over!

but you also had a better trade in than me, all i had was my miata (500) and i sold that as i got it runngi to go down there a freidn bought it off me right away! lol

Yeah kinda same.. I got it for MSRP PLUS the tax,title, and license fees made it 26300 final price.

The trade in was kind of a wash... I financed most of what you see above.
Mine came with stupid ass SIRIUS radio... a $420 option that I will never use.

I'm sure we'll discuss this in detail on Saturday my friend LOL
