They are down here in Miami. I assume it is the same everywhere... probably for insurance purposes.

How come the black MS3 has the 2.3 badge on the side?

I think they might be standard (maybe installed by the dealer at pre-delivery??). It's an interesting question because my Aurora Blue 2007 Mz3 is exactly like the one in the photos on the Mazda website, which doesn't have the 2.3 badges. I saw pre-delivery pictures of mine (I was overseas at the time, and my brother emailed them to me), and it had them. With just gentle prodding, the dealer scraped them before I arrived at the dealer to pick it up. It's just one less thing to have to work around when washing and waxing.

Yeah, it threw me off. First thing I saw was the 2.3 badge so I had to look at the fogs to make sure it was an MS3. Then of course the spoiler and rear end gave it away.

Hey I remember seeing your car. I even think I tailed it home on NB 880. You must have seen that ladies car crashed into the center divide. Don't know how that's possible being the only car there. Did you see this this one? I was third run group

There were quite a few of us blue ones there.
