burning smell during hard driving?

i would venture to say you are really romping on the brakes or you are burning your clutch.

I think its the paint or some kind of coating burning off the engine or around it. It was harsh the first few times I drove the car. HTats what it smells like to me. It no longer gets the stinky smell.

yea i belive it has to be the paints near the turbo , and heat sheilding material. I smell it during hard driving, but its getting less and less each time i drive.

If you drive real hard and then sit in the car at idle for momment. it really smells good. :D
