Ok so I thought I would share some observations from my first week with the car:
1. Im starting to enjoy the stealthy nature of the car
2. Im starting to hate having no respect... so many damn cars cut you off, intimidate you, roll out in front of you assuming you are driving a slow compact import that cant be on their ass in no time... the stealthy thing is a love/hate I tell you
3. Driving a turbo to its peak performance does require some practice... I havent mastered the "keep the turbo" spooled technique yet...fact I cant rev it up doesnt help either... 50 more miles for breakin
4. Damn that rear end is light (shocked)
5. No damn it I cant take the apex on the turns in the same line I take the rear wheel drive car....
6. Ahhhh 3rd gear sweeeeeeeeeetttttt!!!!!
7. I like the exhaust note more and more every day...
8. "thats 3rd you idiot not 1st... no morron that is 4th not 6th" are words spoken to myself less and less frequently now
9. The look on people's face when that 'slow compact asian POS" blows by the dope in the ultimate ahole machine is priceless.....
10. Ive been getting to work/home with a grin on my face...crappy traffic or not....

ditto here, except two weeks with my MS3 now.
can hardly wait for the Cobb AccessPort to extract all she's worth.
I'm still rolling off in 3rd sometimes, but the 6-spd tranny is a blast!

YES the stealth thing is very nice. Not a second glance from the police anymore unlike my MSP. People around this area have no clue what a MS3 is. I have never seen them advertised, plus we dont have a Speed Dealer for 60+ miles.
I no longer get young punks reving engines at me in thier rice rockets, or challenges from the WRX/SRT4 drivers, (We have a lot of those around). Here comes the granny car, until it blows you off the road.
3rd gear is the shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeet!
The BIGGEST thing for me is I have PEACE OF MIND! I can stomp on the gas and not be worried about something blowing a hole in the block, busting a LSD or other problems with the MSP. I winced evey time I heard a new noise. Now i just drive and have fun.
And I Gots Cruise control!!!!!!!!

This has to be the best part.
Getting off work the other evening, I had to merge into traffic after making a turn due to lane reduction. There was this second gen. MX-6 that wouldn't give me any space to merge even after I increased my speed (basically blocking the lane), so I did what any MS3 driver would do and stomped it in 3rd until the MX-6 was a small figure in my rear view mirror. That person probably thought it was another slow wagon. ^_^;;

My wife drives our MS3 daily, while I drive the MS6. However, when I have to go on errands after work I always find that I take the MS3. While not as visceral as my MSP was, it is an awesome under-the-radar rocket that puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

C'mon now Donas, the heavenly father would be upset with that sentiment...LOL. I believe he said something like we must all love one another. I would have to check the small print to see if that pertains when there is car envy...LOL.

I still have to remember that I have a 6th gear when I cruise on the hwy. Oh and also making sure I'm in reverse and NOT 1st! I've had a couple of scary moments when the car has gone forward instead of backwards, lol.

LMAO...this is real power...I usually turn the car on, hit the "DSC OFF" switch, and get in gear and go, but for some reason, I forgot to turn it off tonight on the way home. I gunned it coming onto the highway off the clover-ramp (3rd gear), and the yellow traction control light lit up instantly. I laughed hard. Then I realized I had to get over quickly, and I could feel the car fight for traction as it launched forward and left into the available lane.
I usually forget that I am constantly fighting for traction in 1st, 2nd and 3rd...but that light reminds me every so often. Also, anybody else notice that these tires are very quiet when they break traction? I have yet to year them when they spin. I'd like to!

Forza Ferrari! I'm thinking about getting tickets to the Canadian GP this year to see Kimi and Felipe tear it up in the F2007.

I'll be at the US F1GP. Somehow, I gotta break it to my dad that I won't be hanging with him on Father's Day. Go Raikkonen!
