I have a mazda speed 2003.5 and when I used a diagnostic it read "P0171 System Too Lean". Have any of you guys have this problem? Ho do you fix it? What is the problem?

Thanks

Check the usual torn actuator or vacuum leak usually in the lines or intercooler plumbing.
Get your replacements here

Leading causes for P0171 - Vac leak and exhaust leak.

Other rare causes - Fuel system begining to fail. Bad primary O2 sensor. Bad Maf sensor. Bad tank of gas. Used the wrong gas type ( IE. E85 or methonol varient).

Most common in MSP - Vac leak. Normally via bad WG actuator diaphram. Stock Vac lines are kinda cheap to and prone to crack.

Yup, same code mine pulled up when the actuator was broken.

Yup, same code mine pulled up when the actuator was broken.

I have heard that when you blow into the vac line to the wastegate it should have some resistance. And if not it is probably bad. Well I threw this code also recently and did that test. Seems to have resistance. Could it still be bad? Also my car has a slightly rough idle and jerky acceleration until higher rpms.(3200)
I have been unable to pinpoint the problem.
