Looks like a lot of fun. You should take a lot of pics and notes on what you do this would be a great how to and if it is good I will pin it for all to enjoy.
Make sure to show how all the gauges get wired and installed into that pod. So get to work and have fun with the writeup if you want.

Cool can't wait to see it done, did you already check that those gauges match the Speed6's gauge cluster?

kick ass. I love mine. the only thing I don't like about it is how you have to remove the door, but everybody that gets in my car loves the gauge pod. Just need to get some more gauges.

How do you get the wires back there? Is there somewhere you can get them through from underneath the steering wheel? Also, I heard you have to remove something so that it is never possible to convert back to the stock door there. Is that true?

yes yo have to removed the door, which is probably damn near impossible to put back on. I drilled a small hole in the back bottom corner of it to route the wires through.

Is there any other possible way to get the wires through without drilling a hole? I saw a tutorial once that made it look as though there was already a passage behind that compartment, but it was for the regular 6. Would it be the same for the MS6? Does anyone happen to have a picture of the compartment removed?
Thanks for your help.

Here is what I did. I taped three wires off of the stereo harness (harness on the bottom going into the stereo.
Routed the wires and tube between the air vents. drilled a hole in the bottom left corner of the pocket (the pocket carpet still covers it)
don't mind the blue wires. I did that since I plan to get more gauges and its easier to hook one wire up and run it, the hook the four wires together.
also I was playing with the light tonight. If you hook up the orange wire you get a more orange color lights. If you don't hook up any wire (orange or white) you get a blood red light that hard to read. here are some pics of what I did.

Yeah I'm going to try and get something together Just keep in mind that the Clock and tray are together as one piece if you try before I get this put together.
I still have to order a part to connect the correct OIL sending unit in for the Oil Pressure Gauge.
