07 Mazda 3 not safe!?

That has been known since 2004...the Mazda3 has like a 2 star side crash rating, while having 5 star front and rear...they have no side impact door beams which is really retarded...

Just make sure you get the side impact air bags...
which Mazda should put in there 3's standard since the ratings are so poor without them...

with them I heard it is okay...like a 3 star

yeah pretty sure with out the side air bags its a shitty rating but with them it is a 4star i thought i remember reading... ??

after reading the article it looks like its just the 4 door model... lol so you sedan guys are all screwed!!!

I researched before I bought my 07. I couldn't find any tests conducted with side airbags, but saw some other vehicles rated with and without side airbags. The airbags on those cars made a large improvement in the rating.

I just looked on Mazda USA, the 2007 Mazda 3 sedans all come standard with Side-impact door beams – front and rear.
Side air curtains - front & rear coverage come standard on the S Touring & S Grand Touring, you can get them as an option on the other models. I know in my '06 sedan I have the air bags in the side of my front seats.
