nice price!! good luck!
hehe thanks i hope ur not poking fun at the price, but i felt its fair since im including alot of good stuff minus the afc. I didnt get a chance to dyno but it felt like an msp with exhuast, cold air. maybe a bit faster cause i dont have a body kit or audio equipment to weight it down lol:) oh i ran 6 psi for ever then when i got the midpipe i bumped it to 7 lol spiked to 8 hehe im a paraniod bitch.

wow...that is low mileage
yeah i dont drive it, only to a from work. Bought it brand new in feb 04 for
12k, after 6k in rebates. car was turboed after 6k miles. heres some more shots of my setup. was nice a clean and very discreet. no one knew i had a turbo(glare) i also forgot another thing the kit will come with a apexi turbo timer. turbo timer has voltage readings, air fuel ratio readings, o2 sensor voltage. ill even throw in a non fouler for second o2 sensor.

, just adding that if paying by paypal there may be a slight charge. i dont want to add to the price but i dont want to loose alot to paypal and there gay fees. can someone tell me what to expect from them if it goes for 1500?

01-20-2007, 09:46 PM
It would be beneficial to both you, and your potential buyer if you had the entire kit removed from your vehicle first. It sounds like you have alternate modes of transportation until you can complete the N/A conversion after the turbo removal anyway. I'm sure you're a stand up guy, but I know for a fact that it would be much easier for someone to fork over 1700 if they were loose parts.
cfpkiller
01-20-2007, 09:55 PM
very good point, but i dont want to remove all this stuff if someone isnt serious. i was also playing with the idea of selling the whole car as it sits.
including all the stock parts to make it stock again. But thats another deal.
Ill deff keep it in mind, shoot someone may be able to come see it installed.

01-20-2007, 11:19 PM
i never dynoed it, but like i said it felt more powerfull than a stock msp. I raced a 2004 spec v with cold air and nismo exhuast and beat him by 2 car lengths. thats the best i can tell you about how much power ur gona get. like i siad i have been really conservative on boost and it never went past 8 psi and that was spiked. im in charlotte nc btw

I want it, but I'm in Canada, and I'd hate to think what kind of shipping and duties I'd hafta pay on top of everything.
cfpkiller
01-22-2007, 07:32 AM
:) hmmmm not sure how much shipping would be to canada, im not even sure what it would be to other 48 states, im just hoping it wont be to bad when i get to post office. when shipping i was planning on leaving sections of the ic piping intact to help with install and not have as box full of pipes for someone
to figure out where it all goes. i was gona number them from 1 to 8. 1 starting from the turbo and 8 ending at the throttle body. but if ur willing to pay extra for shipping i be more than happy to send it.:)

heres a quick vid of it in running. blow off valve sounds good in person.
alot of people complimented on how the car looks and people didnt even know it was turboed until i reved engine. I have been to small forums meets with this car in va and here in nc and car seems to get alot of attention because it aint a mp5 or speed or even an ES. car is a real sleeper and caught many honda's, acrura's, etc.... by suprise. Id embarass
them more if id just turn the boost up to 8 or 9. also if kit sells I got a walbro fuel pump and wagner front and rear motor mounts that will be for sale soon.

This appears to be a straight forward direct bolt on setup with little to no modding. Are you still running the stock injectors? Why are you selling your kit?

dam sorry about ur engine. im selling it because i dont dirv emy mazda anymore, I got too many cars, i have an 07 benz E350, 06 mazda 6i, 92 chevy s10 truck, 05 zx6r 636. just got too many toys and only me and my wife to drive em. plus I had my fun with my protege now im going back to stock and my be trading it in or selling it in the near future for a ms3, ms6 or
C280 benz. also may be ditching the mazda 6i to my sister inlaw who can take over paymnts. heres some pics i took while i was in garage. kit will be uninstalled by me and maticulasly unistalled and pcked for shipment. like i siad ill be including alot of nice stuff so price is firm. heres the pics dont worry about the paint on the manifold, ill its high temp paint and has been repainted in almost a year, ill shoot it again and run car so it bakes on nice. ill even give ya repl heatsheild bolts. shoot ill even throw in can of high temp paint.

oh a forgot ull need to trim or stock bumper were intercooler goes. bumper will not fit with intercooler installed. no biggie i just trimed 1/4 inch were bumper mounts to bumper support.
Drake13
01-22-2007, 12:52 PM
So you had to trim the bumper support beam? Did you see my questions from my previous post?
cfpkiller
01-22-2007, 12:54 PM
oh about injectors? yeah they r stock. thats all i needed with the boost i was running. and not the support beam just the inner part of bumper when intercooler would go. But that beacuse i have an lx bumper and not that huge msp or p5 bumper that has a large opening airdam.

haha i'd start a new post on that one dude. I'm sure there are TONES of questions people are going to ask you. As i got tone on the turbo itself.. like:
How does it start cold/hot?
I noticed you arn't running any other fans has it overheated on you before?
Is that a turbo timer in the pic with the gauges? If so is it included?

01-22-2007, 06:49 PM
yeah like i said all the work has already been done. (parts wise) all u needs extra is oil, coolant, permaseal gasket maker for lower oil pan, and u can reuse
ur exhuast dunut for downpipe. ill need mine for remounting my stock exhuast back on. msp ecu install is staight forward, apexi turbo timer is tricky tho. When i take it off ill let u know what wire i tapped into.
