What are the different kinds of boost guages suggsted for the MS6? I haven't figured if I want to mount it in a vent, somewhere on my dash, or mess with the side airbag (not really wanting to mess with safety). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since trying to listen and feel the engine to shift at the right moment is f'ing hard.

I used the VEI gauge and made a custom pod molded into the defrost vent.

That is vary trick did you take pics during the process if so you should do a write up and post it in the how to section that would be sweet. And if there are no pics it would still be nice to know how you made that.

Looks cool and very original!

I would just worry about what happens when you need to have that air bag go off. Hopefully it wont hurt anything.

If the air bag goes off the last thing to worry about is the gauge pod and if it made it. LOL

But still is there any thing you have on a how to for this.

Pretty sure he's not talking about hurting the gauge.. he's referring to the airbag deploying and slapping the gauge into your face at high speeds :P

I hadn't seen those VEI gauges before. I would much rather have the digital bar and digital numeric display than my prosport gauges.. some of their gauges are even cheaper than the prosport ones! RATS!!

anyone want a prosport boost, oil pressure, egt, and oil temp gauge?
