Fit Daily Active Concept
Shown above, the Fit Daily Active Concept incorporates an updated fascia and requisite body kit. LED headlamps add visual pop to the outside, and an eye-popping red-and-white 2-tone interior with multicolor striped seating trim adorn the cabin. A multifunction AV/Navigation display takes up residence in the dash right next to an integrated aroma diffuser.

Forza Smart 2-Seater Concept
The Forza is a 2-seat scooter wearing custom paint and upholstery, plus gold wheels and trim. It sports a communication system so that front and rear passengers can converse easily, and is also equipped with the same Audio Visual Navigation system installed in the Fit concept.

Stream Sports Concept
The red Stream Sports Concept builds on the already slick looks of Honda's newest home-market MPV, and sports a unique front fascia, LED light clusters, upsized Modulo wheels and tires, and a customized interior that features aluminum (or aluminum-look, at least) seatbacks, bespoke upholstery with contrast stitching, and individualized entertainment options for all passengers.

Stream Exclusive Concept
This Stream takes a decidedly more upscale approach than the Sports Concept. It wears silver paint, a unique front end, with a larger grille done up in a mesh pattern. LED lights, chrome trim, rearview cameras and wheels by Honda Modulo adorn the exterior. Inside, ambient lighting, plush carpeting, and lounge-like seating set the mood for occupants who want to settle in to watch a movie on the drop-down 17-inch monitor.

Modulo Accessories
In addition to the concepts, the Honda display will be home to a group of other JDM vehicles decked out in Modulo factory accessories.

More than ever, we want to see the Honda Stream presented as a smaller, sportier alternative to the bulky Odyssey here in North America. Maybe it'd fit in as a different kind of lifestyle vehicle for Acura. Frankly, we don't care how it's positioned, as long as we see it. Hey, you never know. We did get the Fit...

(shocked) I completely agree. That thing looks like a beast.

The S2000 has too many fog/driving lights. Get rid of them and then add a big front mount in the middle there.

They did. It's the Yaris here. They don't sell the 4-door hatch in the states, but they do sell the 4-door hatch elsewhere in America (think: neighbor to the north)

hehe yeah turbo would be quite nice. I think the 5-door yaris/vitz looks nicer than the 3-door anyway.

But I still would MUCh rather have the previous gen model that we didn't get in the states. I see them all over canada (not as much as I see P5s in canada, but almost at that level haha)

Red alert for turbo Yaris

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/images/front_picture_library_UK/dir_424/car_photo_212074_5.jpg

Unveiled at recnt Tokyo Auto Salon - a motor show that gives Japanese makers the chance to let their hair down - the Turbo Modellista is set to go on sale in its home market in the next few months, and previews a European version. Based on the Japan-only Yaris RS, it uses a 1.5-litre engine turbocharged by Toyota's in-house tuner, Modellista, and Toyota Racing Development (TRD).

Power is increased by 40bhp to 150bhp at 6,000rpm, and with 196Nm of torque, the newcomer should cover 0-60mph in less than eight seconds on its way to a 135mph top speed.

To ensure all the power reaches the road, TRD has equipped the car with a limited slip differential, and further improved the handling by lowering the ride height 20mm and fitting specially tuned sports suspension.

The looks are enhanced by a muscular bodykit, with large intakes at the front to feed air into the intercooler, plus 17-inch OZ Racing alloys. Inside, the Turbo Concept gets specially designed instrumentation, which includes a turbo boost gauge, plus a leatherbound steering wheel and gearknob.

They specialize in producing street cars that take to the tunnels and bridges around Japan at triple digit speeds that begin with a 2, and have a history of doing zany things with Supras. A few years ago they shoehorned in a Skyline GTR engine. This year, they installed the only production V-12 made in Nippon, the "280" horsepower 5.0-liter 1GZ-FE installed in the Toyota Century, an understated, retro-cool Japan-only sedan sold to those who are driven rather than drive. At $97K a pop, Toyota doesn't sell many Centuries.
Top Secret bolted HKS 2540 turbos to each bank of six cylinders; the resulting antics produce a claimed 800 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Top Secret installed its own Super Dampers, body kit, and exhaust system, as well as giant Volk wheels and eight-piston calipers.

This Toyota Corsa (essentially a Tercel hatchback) had meager beginnings as an all-wheel drive, naturally aspirated put-put. Crafty owners installed a longitudinally-mounted turbo Nissan engine torn from a 180SX (our 240SX), did away with the boring front-wheel drive portion of the driveline, and created a sideways-driving monster, for what we can only assume was relatively little money.

Bondo Mayhem

Much awaited each year are the displays of Bondo and fiberglass mastery by two (we assume competing) technical schools, NATS (Nihon Automobile College) and the Saitamo Technical College. Students in their teens and twenties learn body work by pumping out a cartoonish and wonderful assortment of cars, trucks, vans, and wheeled vehicles.
http://www.caranddriver.com/assets/image/2007/Q1/012420071557361108.jpgAt least per the license plate, this MR-2 limo from Saitamo College is called the Ailes d'Ange, invoking an ailment involving angina, probably the result of having to make four Lamborghini-style door mechanisms work in concert, which they do. Quality finishing work and details like choice Work-brand wheels made the car an attendee favorite.

Nissan Fairlady Z Version NISMO 380-RS-Competition

http://www.caranddriver.com/assets/image/2007/Q1/012420071602404414.jpgRich gentleman need ready-made racecars, and Nissan is happy to oblige with the Fairlady Z Version NISMO 380RS-Competition, at a cool $216,300 per. A race-developed, long-stroke 3.8-liter VQ35HR engine produces 397 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, magnified by a close-ratio six-speed gearbox, and twists 11-inch wide, 18-inch diameter wheels through a NISMO two-way limited-slip differential.

Hand-fabricated, equal length exhaust runners and sexy carbon fiber intake box help you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. Carbon fiber replaces steel, aluminum, and plastic in the doors, hood, and rear wing; to further reduce weight, the windows are made from Perspex. All these efforts are good for a 2780-pound curb weight.
http://www.caranddriver.com/assets/image/2007/Q1/012420071602442795.jpgBrembo race-spec six-piston calipers squeeze 15-inch rotors, and all suspension components are built-to-spec NISMO pieces. A fully gusseted and triangulated roll cage, full digital instrument cluster, and racing seat decorate an otherwise stripped interior. The car was built with Super Taikyu racing in mind, but would slot in nicely into Grand Am racing as well.

Top Fuel S2000

Entirely new body lines were rendered in carbon fiber, and with wings, canards, and splitters everywhere, it looks like it could drive upside down. Speed should come readily with 871 available horsepower. The stock F20C engine was bored and stroked to 2.2L, but the big boost in power comes from a monstrous Garrett 3240 turbocharger. The car features many Top Fuel products, and little remains with a Honda part number or even off-the-shelf aftermarket.
