Has anyone tried these (http://www.mazdagear.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=332)to see if they fit? I emailed the vendor, and they said they have no idea if they'll fit the CX-7. My guess is that they would.

I would buy a FULL stick on set from a site like www.edashkit.com

Hmm, I've always found stick-on sets to be cheap looking. To each his own though.

I will let you know....I ordered 3 different samples from them last night. I was thinking of the Piano Black highlights...ala Japanese CX-7

Alright, so I wasn't able to get any answers. However, I took a look at the CX-7 black air vent bezels and they're just snap-on rings. Therefore, I'm gonna go ahead and order the RX-8 bezels and give them a shot. If they don't work, I'll just return them. Stay tuned for the verdict (probably next weekend).

And how to uninstall the CURRENT, and install the new.

Lesson learned #1: Don't order from Mazdagear.com! I ordered the bezels on 1/15, and on 1/19 I recieved an email saying that JUST NOW shipped the parts. I have NEVER purchased anything online that wasn't shipped within 48 hours. To make matters worse, they charged $9.19 for S&H! Believe me, I wrote them one helluva a nastygram.

Anyhow, so much for thinking I was gonna install the bezels this weekend. :(

Alright, here's the verdict:

The Good: They fit. They're just metal rings with double-sided adhesive on the inside. I'm sure they'd pass as stock when installed.

The Bad: They don't really match anything. They appear to be actual brushed metal. Therefore they don't match the chrome steering wheel logo or shifter collar, nor do they match the CX-7's "aluminum" plastic trim.

For $80 they're yours. Otherwise I'm returning them. Let me know.
