Good news for all those CX-7 owners out there looking for accessories from Japan! I dropped by the local Mazda dealer (which is one of the largest in the area) and met a very cool salesman by the name of Akio Taniguchi.
He provided me with the Mazda CX-7 "Shop Options" catalog which can also be viewed online at http://www.mazda.co.jp/accessories/web_cat/cx-7/cx-7.html?cx-7_cl
Please use the form below if you're interested purchasing any "JDM" CX-7 accessories. I will provide the retail price at this time. Quotes for final pricing and shipping will follow once I see how much interest there is in these parts.

I'm interested in at least the rear plate, too (they don't require front plates in Arizona).
I hate the way the plate mounts, right up against the paint. I put the plastic dealer plate underneath it but it still seems like it needs some sort of base.

Okay, I can't read japanese, but can you tell me more about the "Visual & Communication Item" page???
I believe the top half is about sat nav system options...such as additional inputs and a digital tuner to watch tv.
As for the bottom half...The G-book is some sort of "data module"...Seems like some sort of modem or wireless system...More on this later...
At the very bottom...Those are ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) units which are for people who want to pass through toll roads without stopping...
Hope that sheds some light for you :D

You might want to send them an e-mail to make sure if it will ever happen...My friend at the dealer didn't seem to optimistic about the chance of these parts being available in the states.

When I emailed Mazda North America I got a reply stating the 08 accessory line up could have additions for the cx-7 they asked me what I wanted from the J-spec catalog I sent them the pic & part# they replied back they will be bringing it up to corporate and to have people email there interest to them.
Go To MAZDAUSA.com
Go TO Inside Mazda top link click on Contact US then Email Us
then enthusiast- Parts and accessories tell them what you want and why be brieve and to the point- Don't ask for install directions just what your interested in and why.
-Good luck to all of us if we can show there is a larger market to them by owner inquiry. This stuff could be sent to the US market and we will be saving some serious money on this stuff if we can get at our local wholesale dealers.

Mirrors: I asked about those today and he said they could probably order them but they normally come standard on the CX-7. I got the feeling it might be quite pricey but I can verify if you would like...?
Bumper antennas/sensors: I've added both systems to your list and when you're ready...You can decide which is best for you :)
Fog lights: Changed to B33A V7 220 [EF2Q]

General update...I had time for a short visit today and my friend told me that they can not offer "group buy" discounts. In other words...You can only get a discount if you include these options into the sale of a new Mazda!
INSTALL INFO...
Door Sills: Apparently it's an easy install and they "pop" into place. Actually...The CX-7 is still quite new and they haven't even installed these options before...but I'm sure that will change...SOON.
Front and Rear bumper guards/plates: Again...They haven't installed these as of yet but it looks like you'll definitely need some tools and "know how"...or have a professional install it.

I appreciate your effort I personally aside will wait for the 08 North America catalog I have a few dealers and parts rep speaking to Mazda corporate direct and hopefully people here will chime into Mazda and be proactive. The shipping from Japan will put this stuff out of my hands. I'm focusing on mods vs accessories at the moment if I can get it in 08 at wholesale price I'll wait.
I greatly appreciate your efforts though please don't get me wrong what your attemping to do for America owners is awsome!

I understand some of what they're trying to say and the pics obviously show whats going to, but only to a point - i'd be more likely to buy some other items, or decide NOT to, if i could read the hype they've printed alongside the pics...
just my 2 cents...

I thought the same thing, but it isn't necessary anymore. Japanparts.com has almost (if not all) of the parts available. Check it here: http://www.japanparts.com/db/category.php?dealer=6&car=129
I ordered the bumper scuff plate last weekend - should be here in another week. Prices are more reasonable than I expected for import parts. If I'm happy this time, I'll probably end up buying the door sill scuff plates and maybe that grill garnish (although the grill garnish IS outragously expensive).

They ad like $30 - $60 and up to the price. those Yen pices they post are higher than the parts catalog shows them for,(its like they are tyring to pull a fast one) plus however much they charge for S&H. How much did they charge you for S&H?
Plus they dont have a few things I want.
But It still might be the same if we get them through Antoine, depending on if he could get us a discount or not.
If he can ever get this thing going anyway. Hope So(2thumbs)
Heck Ignore me I might get a few things from them myself if I get bored of waiting:)

They ad like $30 - $60 and up to the price. those Yen pices they post are higher than the parts catalog shows them for,(its like they are tyring to pull a fast one) plus however much they charge for S&H. How much did they charge you for S&H?
Plus they dont have a few things I want.

Well considering the parts aren't available in the US, I think they're justified in padding the price a bit. They charged $25 for shipping. Total for my order was just under $175. Car accessories are always a ripoff, but $175 was my ceiling, so I'm happy that I can even acquire the parts. Stooopid Mazda.
BTW, Antoine hasn't responded to status calls for over two months! It is my opinion that it isn't gonna happen, which is too bad. I've officially given up. :(

I've left you guys hanging and I'm sorry about that...I've just been too busy to drop by the dealer and pursue this deal...No doubt these parts will end up costing a decent penny ("JDM", shipping, customs, compensation etc)...Has anyone tried getting these parts through one our own Authorized Vendors...like Protege Garage (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=297)? Ken @ PG can get any Mazda Parts and he is a great supporter of the Mazda Forums community!

I don't think anything is happening with this. The thread is way old. Try Japanparts.com ?

Seems like you still can't get these parts in North America..?
Keep in mind that it will not be cheap to have JDM CX-7 goodies shipped to your door...For those who REALLY want these parts...let me know...I might be able to help you out on a "one on one" basis...
Or...as mentioned before...you can try checking with our own Authorized Vendor Ken at Protege Garage (http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=297)
Post here or PM if interested...Thanks! :D
