Has anyone thought about getting their rims chromed? I've seen a guy on ebay thatt sends you the CHROMED rims 1st, and you have like 2 weeks to return your stock rims back. It comes out to between $500 and $800, depending on where you live.

Here's a guy who had it done. I wouldn't invest that much money in OEM rims but to each there own :)

I think it would look nicer on a grand touring model.

I'm honestly not a big fan... plus I think (not sure) they don't wear as well. From what I understand, they are NOT something you'd want to be driving in snowy weather (salt pits the chrome), so you'd have to take them off seasonally.

Plus, I kinda think they look a little too bling bling ;)

Offset...

That looks nice. I'm not against chrome in general... just chroming the rims :)

Not it was a pre-fabbed piece I got from a guy who sells them on Ebay. It was a line-it-up, peel the back and stick! :)

Does it cover the access points for the tow hook?

Yes but my thought was...they only use those in transport and should the car go onto a flat bed for some reason, they always tire the car down around the tires. Not a single car I've ever had, has a tow company actually popped the caps off and used those.
