a few months ago i found a small crack in my bumper, right below the right headlight. as the months get colder, so does the crack. its not extremely big right now, but id like to keep it that way if possible. any ideas of ways to sort of "patch" it up to keep it from getting bigger, without having to pay the high price at a body shop?

The bumper cover is plastic. Go to a body shop supply store and get the smallest package of 3M Automix plastic repair. This is not exactly "DIY" as the area will need to be painted to match.
