hid lights

When you are installing HID lights are you supposed to use some thermal grease or something because i got a cheap pair off ebay and it came with a small packet of some grease stuff and said something about putting it on in the instructions which i did not read

nevermind I just installed it and it looks nice
I tried reading the instructions and it was just all stupid engrish crap that doesnt make sense
I think its pretty good i guess for an ebay one and it looks nice
I was kind of confused because it is 5900K
why not just 6000K or something like that?

cheap pair off ebay? you mean the fake blue-painted bulbs?

yeah the grease is probably just a dielectric grease.. doesn't hurt to use it, it helps things out.
