We are currently trying to gain interest in the hood... Is there a forum that I could go on to get a group buy going or would you be willing to help out to speed things along... I'm thinking if we could get at least 10 people we could get something going...

Subject: CF Hood

Hi i'm wondering if you have any plans on makeing the carbonfiber hood for the Mazda CX-7 that you did for the your SEMA CX-7 for production? There are so Man of us that love that hood and it also takes care of our heatsoaking top mount intercooler. Please get back to me or see if we can set up like a production deal i thinks thats what its called were if i were to get 10 people to bye one that you can start production on them. That woud be great

i'm in the works on getting more pics of the hood and priceing for it also for the splitters i will check on that for the hood lining up with the intercooler the vent feeds directly into it.

Yeah the CX-7 looks great lowered on the right rims...It lends itself to that sporty/tuner look quite well!

As for the CF hood...Tell Amie to renew her AV status on Mazda Forums...It's been a while and I'm sure there is renewed interest for CF parts on new gen models like the CX-7.

Well If it weren't carbon fiber I'd like it. Carbon fiber is just a little too much for the CX-7 in my opinion.

Or you can just get it painted :) , Anyway I'm very interested depending on the price... Please update us with the price asap!

I spoke to DG Motorsports today and they said they were going to make the hood and front lip pieces . They also told me that the hood was going to be fiberglass not carbon fiber. Personally I prefer fiberglass. They told me to check back in a couple of months for pricing and availability.

yeah fiberglass is good.. it would look awful unpainted anyway, the CX-7 is far too clean of a design to wreck with carbon fiber

I'm more interested in the mesh grill inserts........I think they add more to the front of the CX than anything else in the photo. If they make those available I will be ordering those immediately.

Would be interested in the lip pieces and mesh grills, also what about the side fairings under the doors or are my eyes deceiving me.

Is it functional to ram air into the IC?

Or just cosmetic???

If it is functional, then are the some pictures on how the ducting works and looks?

Some pictures and pricing would be nice in order to get members to commit to it.

I spoke with them again yesterday and got the exact same answer that I got a month ago. They told me they were definitely going to be making the accessories but it would be a couple more months. They did say that they had been swamped with calls about the car.

Yeah, I saw them at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. They look awsome in person.
There was three CX-7 on display.
I talked to Mazda about making the lower corner splitters but they weren't interested. Lets hope DG Motorsports makes them.
Here are the photos I took at SEMA.

Hopefully DG Motorsports gets with the program and starts to market/produce NEW parts for the CX-7, Mazdaspeed3/6, etc.
