Airbox/Resonator Question

Anyone removed this with the stock airbox still in place on the MS6? I want to remove mine hope I can hear the turbo or Factory BOV.

Performance gain? Performance Loss? Any inputs? I will get a CAI later when I have money.

it wont get much louder at all. Your best bet is to just get an intake and be done with it.

Crap is it worth even doing at all? No gain?

I know when I get the CAI I have to do it anyway.

yeah it'll flow better but noise won't get much louder. Wait until you see the bottom box...it's junk./

I didn't notice any difference performance or sound with the resonator delete. The only benefit I saw was that it made the CAI install alot easier.

I tried driving around with the airbox open. Sounds 500% better. You can hear the turbo spool and the recirc valve. Sounds almost like a BOV.

What does that thing even do anyway? I looked at it when I was taking it out and it doesn't seem to do anything.

I think it silences sound so you don't hear anything like the turbo

it's a silencer, nothing else.
