Hi,

The switch inside the car for the trunk does not work. Does anyone know which fuse controls this? Hoping it is the fuse and not something else. The switch on the trunk works so I am hoping it is the fuse.

Thx

Michael

if you have a 06 it should be still under warrenty. Just take it back to dealership and have them fix it for you

I got it used but it is still covered, but I would like to know regardless. If anyone knows it would be much appreciated.

Have the dealership fix it and tell you what was wrong. :)

the switch by the driver side?

if it doesnt open that way, open the trunk with the keys, and then empty the trunk, there should be a switch behind the plate on the inside, i cant remember off the top of my head which way is on or off, but press it once, close the trunk, and try the switch again, if its fixed, problem solved, if it isnt, then the switch is dead.

Sometimes I have found that the things you put in the trunk tend to set off the switch, so maybe that could be the culprit

Thanks, that is exactly it. I did not want to take it to the dealer sit around for 4 hours and have them come back and tell me it is that. Thanks

So the NC has a switch to disable trunk opening from the cockpit? Nifty.

hmmm...I guess it's a secruity measure. I always figured the alarm sounding when manually opening the trunk from the cockpit (with security enabled) was the only security option available.

Good to know anyway.
