View Full Version : will 205/50/17s be ok on the stock rims?

jst as the title is asking will 205/50/17 tires fit well on the MSP? do they ride ok and such? i had gone to a local tire shop and they offered me 2 sizes in tires one was stock and the other was 205/50/17 and they said both would fit ok is this true?

I'm using 215/50-17 SZ-50's and I had to resolve some minor rubbing issues. I love how it rides with them. You shouldn't have any problems with that size.

some guy locally switched from 17s back to stock 15s on his corrado and sold me a set of almost new yokohama AVS ES-100 tires and i almost shat myself when he said he still hadem and i just picked them up a little bit ago.

Watch the black plastic behind the Left Rear wheel. If it's rubbing, drill a small hole and use a wire tie to pull it back a little bit. Let me know how they work out.

would it be ok if i just used a dremel tool to cut a section of it if theyre not right
? and is it just the left rear? or does the right side have it too?
