I just installed my HKS BOV tonight and im pretty sure i did it right, now how do i adjust the sound and stuff. is there a manual or anything??

only way to adjust the sound is to buy the different inserts.

Unless you got the old one there is no way to adjust the sensitivity. And the only way to change the pitch of the valve is to buy different inserts. The inserts are about 25 bucks a piece. I have the purple one and I like it. Its much deeper than the silver one it comes with.

how do you tell what insert you have?? and whats the bolt for on top??

Top bolt I assume is for adjusting the stiffness of the piston inside. The more boost you run the more you will need to tighten that bolt to be able to hold the pressure.

You really aren't supposed to adjust it unless it leaks. HKS removed the adjustment b/c people were adjusting it when it didn't need it and damaged the valve inside.
