Custom Engine powdercoated cover????????

So I am not really a big fan of how the valve cover on my msp looks. I think that the engine bay looks alot cleaner but less stylish with the stock platsic engine cover. I am wanting to have a similar cover made form sheet metal. I have a guy who has powdercoated alot of my engine already. He has a really cool looking metallic black that I am wanting to do for the cover. My question is do you think it would be too difficult to fab up a metal cover that would look as close to the stock plastic cover as possible. I think this might actually turn out pretty good if it could be done. Any feedback??????

Not too difficult at all man. Actually, it's one of the easier things you could probably make. All that matters are the mounting points. Get those right, and it's gravy. I think it'd be sweet actually, and depending on what it looks like I might even want to buy one!
