Whats up ya'll?

So the title of the thread is basically what I am wondering. I have pieced together everything I need for a basic turbo setup. I went with a T25 turbo so that I could remain as close in size to the MSP. I bought a OBX turbo manifold off ebay and a Venom fuel pressure regulator that is boost operated (?) ie. sucks more fuel in under boost.. I bought a small FMIC and piping, a buddy that runs a welding shop here locally is making my down pipe and turbo back 2.5in exhaust. I bought a turboXS type-H RFL BOV, Halman Pro MBC, new A/F - Boost - Oil Press. gauges,3 gauge pod....I think thats it, my turbo timer hasnt arrived yet but its a basic Greddy turbo timer, nothing fancy. The turbo is I believe off of a stock Eclipse, it has a internal wastegate that was no good, so we replaced it with a 6lb wastegate, so that it could run stock boost at the same level as the MSP.

My main question is...what all do you all suggest to run more boost? I am waiting on my tax return to buy rods and pistons and a metal headgasket. And I think next month I will buy some 370cc injectors and a EMS, I think I may just go with a Apex'i AFC, Ive been told by many "boost-heads" in my area that this is a hell of a lot cheaper way than buying a $700 -$1000 EMS.

Please keep this thread on topic, and I somewhat of a NooB to the whole turbo thing especially on Proteges and the FS-DE motors.

Thanks everyone!

Chris

turboing is talked about daily here, you'd have better luck finding the information you need by searching and reading all the shit in the forced induction section!

Thanks, I looked around for a bit, but didnt really find much. I apologize for not having the time to sit and look around more. Im in Iraq and I have to pay for the internet by the 30min block of time. And there are a lot of people in line. Otherwise I would sit and look around more. I just was looking for a quick reply with some answers. Sorry :-\

Looks like your getting everything together quite well. If u want to run more boost.....get a larger turbo ;)

And you still wont be an MSP, lol (evil)

I thought bought a GT28R but that wont be for a long ass time. I think Ill just turn the boost up on the occasion to like 12lbs to see what it can do, but Im kinda scared to, to be honest with ya'll. lol. I dont wanna blow anything. But I think it should be ok if i am running forged internals and a metal head gasket and running a pretty safe fuel setup. Anywho, again any help would be great, keep posting ya'll! Thanks
