MSM to WRX...

Here is a couple pics of my new 06 WRX TR. I traded the msm for it, reasons being I needed something more practical, and the impreza rides 100x better on these crap roads here. The miata was a very fun car, this car can't touch the handling of the mx-5, but power is a different story. It feels just as fast stock, but once this thing gets a turboback exhaust and tune it'll be no contest.

*waits for "should have bought a ms3" comments lol, no discount on those yet here, the wrx was about 23k.

Thanks for the nice comments, I like it alot so far. Some people say the 06 front end is ugly or pig like, I bought it for the 2.5L and front 4 pot calipers not the styling, which I think really isn't that bad.

The miata ran a best of 13.9 in the 1/4 so it was pretty quick for what is was. With a couple mods on this I hope to see low 13s or high 12s.

GACC accepted a srt-4(jk kevin), so a wrx should be alright also lol. I want to autox, but I'm afraid I may suck at it. Looks fun watching it however.

My MSM, when stock, was considerably faster than a stock WRX from a roll. From a dig, the WRX had the advantage until about 3rd gear.

Of course, my MSM dynoed 161 RWHP bone stock, which is higher than the average (150-155RWHP).

A good number of MSM's have a leaky BPV which causes a pretty significant drop in power.
