I'm thinking about getting the one from the dealership where it plugs into a small trailor-like hole in the back and hangs two bikes. I'm not too keen on the 1 bike on the roof, 1 in the car thing.

I have a Bell bike rack that I bought at Wally World for about $30. It straps on the back, holds two bikes, and works really well for me. How much are you going to pay for the dealership rack?

I have a Yule bike rack, from Dick's for around $150, that goes into the 1 1/4" trailer hitch that Mazda had put on for me(not factory...just part of the "deal"). I put 3 bikes on it and other than decreasing the "not so good" gas mileage, it is great. It folds down so I can get the rear door open and is very solid and quiet. I can also take it out and then tow my 8' trailer with no problem.
I love my CX-7!

I didn't realize there was a bike rack that plugged into the "small trailor-like hole". What hole are you referring to?
Do you have a link to info about this rack?

I have the Thule Rack that is made for the smaller hitches. It holds 4 bikes and locks.
