tie rod end and or ball joint... a way to check is jack up that corner, place one hand at top of tire, one hand at bottom and lightly push in and out.. if there is play there, its your ball joint..
then put one hand at left side of tire, other on the right side of tire, wiglle lightly back and forth.. if there is play there, its a tie rod...
also check yoru control arm bushings..

could also be something as simple as a few screws loose under the car. Check the front bumper and splashguard.

it cant be a ball joint or tie rod if its a rattle .. a balljoint or tie rod make a clunk noise just like a stabalizer link / bushings. for a rattle it must be a plastic or a thin metal that is loose .
check ur bellypan if there's any missing bolts and if so , just tiewrap it
if its ok , check the inner fender for the same i mentionned.
hope it will help

And tug on the endlinks! If there is any play - they are worn.

sorry to bring up a old thread but I to am getting a rattle on the passenger side underneath the glove box area is there a visual way to tell if you endlinks and tie rods are worn and how much is it to replace them?
