ok, im running dual setup and i changed all vac lines to goodyear brand super duty. i got my unichip ebc off and i am making 8-9 psi boost. then it bumps up to like 14-15 psi. it only does this when im in 3rd or 4th on the highway or passing someone. all vac ends are secured and boost gauge always goes back to 0 when the car is off. is this signs of a bad wastegate? but i also heard that if the wastegate is bad you can hear a whistle sound comming from it. im clueless at this point and very fustrated. to the point of parking the damn thing and buy my friends 240.

what is your vacuum reading??

An easy way to test your Wastegate actuator is to hook a vacuum pump up to it, and make sure it isn't leaking. If air escapes, then the diagphram is bad. Also i know people have problems with the unichip boost controller, if you have an authorized dealer they may be able to tune it to fix it for you, or you could try talking to JDM Sam, he is very good at tuning unichips and he may be able to do a 'you mail it to him, he gives it a rough tune for your mods, and mails it back' kinda thing, i dunno.

well i got the gauge hooked up on the line thats going from the top the engine to the ebc. it has always read like 22-23 vac. never had problems till i went to this dual setup deal. i admit it runs alot better. and really no lag and no damn turkey.

yes i've got an aftermarket electronic cruise, its really nice to have.

your vac reading sounds good, you could check your wga if you feel like it but i would think if you were having any problems with it you'd have a different vac reading. My (non-expert) guess is that its just that the unichip needs to be adjusted to cure the spike.
