ive been wanting to upgrade from my customMSP smic to a fmic but i would like to keep my hardpipes. so i was thinking, why not get an ic with the endtanks on the left side and buy a couple peices of piping and couplers and turn it into a fmic. does anyone know where i can find/buy one of these intercoolers? i need one that is relatively small in heigth so i wont have to do too much trimming on my bumper. any and all help is greatly appreciated

they don't necessarily suck balls. most of them get the job done. also you can find a 'top quality' one on there. just look for a garrett or spearco core, which quite a few of them are.

i bought one off ebay a while back for my old talon. ran 22psi thru the thing with no problem. plus it was only about 110 shipped and it was perfect in every way and polished like a mirror. just make sure that it states it was pressurized and tested to a certain psi before buying one. this gives you an incentive to a 'warranty' if you could say. also, when you get it use a boost leak tester on it and see if it will handle the boost you'll be making.
