I cant spend more than 200 per rim. So if any knows of a cool looking set please let me know. I want to keep the same size rims.

rotas come to mind, if you don't mind replica wheels. asa ar1 and ar2 look pretty nice and are under $200.

I do like the asar 1's. But I also like the Kazera's. I know you get what you pay for. So my mind is kind of leaning towards the ASA's. I think I will have to call and get the pricing for the ASA's.

Kazeras are fairly good wheels for a fraction of the price. They're essentially ASA's. The KZ-V's (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123650029) that I have have ASA mold markings in the rear. Recall that ASA licensed their wheel production process from BBS.

I have Kazera KZ-R's on my RX-8 with some Pirelli Snowsport 210's. Once my Speed3 arrives (order from MNAO), I am going to swap these on only for winter driving.

Here they are on my 8.

the only reason to put aftemarket wheels on a car like the ms3 would be:

1. weight reduction
2. higher quality
3. better looking while not sacrificing weight or quality

if you fail to meet these criteria, do yourself a favor and forget it.

Umm what about folks who user their MS3 in the winter? I think wheels/tries are needed for the most important reason for driving in the winter... TRACTION...

winter doesnt count. obviously winter requires winter wheels.

i was assuming he was talking about purchasing these as an upgrade over the stock wheels since he asked our opinion and was being specific about which wheels to get. no one puts that much effort into buying winter wheels. i was only commenting on the performance aspect of his wheel choice.

I am talking about summer tires. I am getting a set of winters for the stock wheels and putting the stock rubber on the new wheels. I did make my mind up.....I am going with the ASA AR2 rims from tirerack.
