So I decided to paint my brake calipers on my MS3 last weekend. I used Dupli-Color High Heat paint that is good up to 1200 degrees. The main reason I did it was for the rust/corrosion/oxidation protection the paint provides. I decided on black paint to keep the "sleeper" aspect of the car (this was really tough because I've always wanted a car with red painted calipers!). Check out the pics and let me know what you think or if you have questions. If there is enough interest, I will post a DIY on how to do this.
Thanks to BSTD3 for his expertise on this and use of his garage, supplies, and tools!

I'm still deciding what color goes good with sunlight silver.. prob red. Not sure though.. might do the black like you did

remove the wheel and paint it w/ a spray bomb ... the paint that will go on the disk will get away as soon as u brake ( thats a ell cheepo way to do )

Why did you decide not to paint the entire brake? The red looks really nice though, what color is your car?

Mine painted on my Protege5 with G2 Caliper Paint. 3 years later they still shine like new.

Yup, I've had my snow tires mounted to those rims for 3 years now. I figured they would be no good for this year but they have about 75% tread left, so I mounted them on the MS3. They fit perfectly and looks nice to boot.

I know this is for the mazda3 but if anyone wants to see how the silver calipers look on a silver car well thats what I did today, I like it, I dont have the time or patience to re-post all the pics so if you dont mind check them out by clicking HERE! (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2249414/8)

Love it! You could do what I did though. Add a touch of red by just painting the inner portion of the caliper, just enough to give it a contrast in color.

No no no no. Get the brake caliper paint kit. It's more of an epoxy. Use any type of spray paint and it will look like crap after a while.
