Mazda 6 Projector Retrofitting Project in process

Hey,

I started retrofitting my P5 headlights with a set of Mazda 6 projectors. I've read that they're not the best projectors around, but I think I've got the beam where I want it after playing around with the HID bulb's location inside the projector reflector. I still need to finish it up, but ran out of time tonight. Check 'em out...

I forgot to mention that reused the stock reflector to mount the bulb, as the Mazda6 projectors use an H11 bulb and the P5 headlight uses the H7 bulb.

Made a different beam patter in the first picture.

Can't come up with a shroud, any ideas!!??

those look pretty good. i love HIDs, and the plug-n-play ones just dont come close to projectors. looks like you have some condensation inside the lense tho.

Thanks man. I still want to play around with the projector to see if I can get an even better beam. I haven't sealed the housing yet, so any condensation will be gone.

Did some more work to the actual projector, the latest beam pattern is in the first post. I Hope i'm free this saturday guys, if that's the case you're more than welcomed to stop by. I'll give you a call.

Nice man. I personally like the sedan lights with the projectors, like Hollywood2009 or Boomergt. I'd like to find another headlight set and do this down the road. Was it hard to do?
