does anyone know anything about this? someone must have bought one, i am wondering how easy it is to install and if 20 extra horses is true.... with this, the cai and cat back, thats all the power i would want.

That's the protegegarage intercooler, and yes, the 20 horse gain is true.

I wonder if a dumb electrician like me could install it. I guess it voids the factory warranty but it is something to think about.

It's a pretty straight forward install and as for warranty, you could
A) Ask your dealer what their policy is on mods
or
B)Buy it, install it, and take it off before you go get warranty work done.

The top mount intercooler is not that hard to swap out if you wanted to. Takes about 30 minutes to an hour. Depending on how good you are with tools.

Buy the 3 inch core. this one is no longer in production. The 3 inch is the correct as it does not rub under the hood. (shocked)
