Ok,I have Searched and from eveything that I have read no one is having the same problems with their A/C that I'm having.Unless I overlooked/couldn't find that thread. Also before Anyone try's to point out that there is a TSB For the A/C control panel. this is already known...I want to know if there is somthing that maybe I'm overlooking/Haven't checked...

When I turn on the A/C in 1,2,3 the A/C compressor come's on and, the dash light comes on and the engine fans come on but, no air is coming from the dash. Also, the blower motor is not running when the switch is in 1,2 or 3.When the switch is in position 4 the blower motor is running warm air is blowing from the dash but, everything thing else compressor,Fans, dash light turn's off.

I plan on replacing the A/C control panel or Taking it into Mazda and, having them diagnose what the problem is for me.(ughdance)

I'm out of warrenty so If I,take it to the Stealership I have to pay for everything out of pocket.

Thank's for any help.
David

Oddly this sounds like a blown blower motor resistor pack. I actually found out about this part on my girlfriend's Focus. She had the same EXACT problems you're describing. I wasn't aware the MSP had the same setup... but I guess Mazda is a Ford subsidary.

Thank's for the help...I was talking to a few guy's at work today and, they think it might be the resistor also.

When I get off work today I'm going to check and see if it, is bad.

Also,welcome to the site man!

Thanks for the welcome! Just wanted to see if you ever found out whether it was the resistor pack and if so, maybe some steps to fix it? I'm fairly certain if you ran into this problem, a fair amount of others will down the road.

I haven't fixed the problem yet.I just ordered the resistor from onlinemazdaparts yesterday so,when I get it next week sometime I will install it and report back.

At least, it has been cool around here for the last few day's so not having A/C isn't that bad yet.
