Well, it all started when i was fixing a Mazda 626 '98 with a blown engine, i was toying with the idea of installing a MSP engine since it already was turbo charged. Well, i got bit, when i started comming into this forum and looking at all those gorgeous mazdaspeed's..i couldn't help but wonder how would it feel to drive one.

After 4 months of looking for one, i finally found it.
5 minutes from my house, a dealer had one in yellow. I couldn't believe it. I immediatly set up a drive test appointment and impatiently waited 3 days. Finally the weekend arrived and i test drove, the ride was bad ass, 5 hours laters it was in my drive...i couldn't sleep that day.

Then, first mods..gutted cats, removed muffler for a straight pipe and borrowed CAI from ghettobubba (andrew)...released the turkey...it was awesome, best feeling ever...then one day went to the track and ran a best time of 14.4 out of 6 passes. No one could believe it (see video here http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5117739257771021016&hl=en )
Found out it was a broken WGA, replaced and contributed with a how-to, found here: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123634567&highlight=how-to%3A+WGA i felt i needed to give back to this communty after all the help i've had received.

Next install after that, Boost gauge sold to me by Alfredo ( mp3) and gauge pod as a gift from miguel.
then, mid pipe, borrowed from andrew, paid for with an IC..
after that, replaced cracked manifold (thnx to ghettobubba),
purchased FS-ZE cams...against everyone saying they weren't any good..proved them wrong, and made people buy more cams actually (i know of 3 people that purchased them because of me...shit????!?!?)
then, removed VTCS, VICS and installed rear and front motor mount. (found out on a friends car that this could be accomplished thru the Throttle body (after removing it. found here: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123651947)
Found out removing VICS is not such a smart idea, but ...oh well.
Installed FMIC kit from another member in here (freebie) and two stage boost controller, then set the car at 10psi on high and 8 psi on low...car was running strong, taking on srt-4's like nothing.

then, car accident, totaled...end of story.

tragic ending for such a marbel of a car.
Never really got around installing the front lip of the car...i feel bad about it now...

is a black christmas, this is one to never forget..

You'll always be remembered!!!

i will post pics as soon as i have a chance...
for now, darkness..

Sad to hear of your loss if you can't fix it why don't you get a miata. It's a good rwd car not too expensive and there is a lot of aftermarket support for the car. It's a sad day wehen we lose a MSP. Well whatever you decide to go with good luck to you.

What happened with the asshole that hit you and ran? Did the police bring him in yet? HIS insurance should be paying you for the totalled car, so if you put all that towards an MS3, you shouldn't be paying too much a month, unless you still owed a ton on your MSP.

i loved my car, don't get me wrong...but going thru LSD's manifolds and stuff being so expensive...kinda gets your tired of it.

the reason why i'm going with a 240 sx is because is old, so is cheap (3000?? 4000??) and easy to work on, i guess...parts for this cars are readily available...

no more mazda for now...until i get what i want, last generation RX-7....such a beautiful car

i'll hang around, helping people with the little knowledge i gathered from owning a msp..
this is a great community..

thnx everyone

people, pelase!!
stop asking for parts....they would be announced in due time.

is like if i went to the hospital where your son died and said:
"My deepest condolences....hmm..is ur son a type-o negative? coz i kinda need a heart and lung for my son"

or if ur granma just dies and i said "my condolonces..but...is that barely driven cadillac for sell? how much?"

thank you for understanding in this tough times
