It will make a sound just like an EVO with HKS BOV.

people say that auto can't make a good BOV sound but our cx7 do.

I just push the paddle and let the turbo spin a lil, then release, then pshhhh.

About warrenty... hum....

This is what I do.. yes they can void your warranty IF the CAI&BOV caused problem on your car and you want them to fix it for warranty.

But, usually, they will just ask you to take them off and comeback again..

then.. you can just go to another dealer and some of them don't even care.

My brother has 07 BMW335i twinturbo.. and he got his exhaust from CP-E and installed coil-overs from AMS, and then.. boom, all the lights came in... CEL, VDC, and everything.

and when he went to BMW they didn't say anything about his BOV and the EXhaust, they even say it looked cool!

but since the after market coilover cause the problem, my brother had to pay for the fix.

I think CAI won't damage your car and it won't cause any problems so I don't worry about warranty..

P.S.
I will go to my dealer with my CAI and BOV and see what they going to do^^
cuz i have the CEL issue because of the gas cap just like everybody.

You don't gain much hp from BOV,

I got this just for my future projects.

I am planning to upgrade my turbo.. hybrid something.. it will make 350hp.

BOV.. hum.. juss to hold more psi.. and etc..

The plastic BOV will end up leaking boost. It always will.

yeah but if its not leaking in the first place there won't be any difference. I've never been in one of these cars but i'm thinking the stock bpvs don't leak coming off the line from the factory..

DSMs.

Same part..sure. Same car....no. Comparing a DSM and a Mazda is apples to oranges. How much power/stress is going threw a evo(or other dsm) opposed to the CX-7. I doubt CX7 owners stock bpv/bov will fail as quickly as a "typical" DSM owner. But thats just one guys opinion.

And as far as the Evo, the stocker can't even handle that.

This is a fairly inexpensive part and will handle the boost better and a lot longer. How is this a bad thing?

its not a bad thing, i just bring it up cuz of the people asking if there are any power gains from the BOV. If it didn't leak in the first place there won't be any gain from it.

I agree,,, I got my BOV just cuz it helps when I try to use more boost when I get my boost constroller.
