About a month ago I took my car to the dealer for a problem(which turned out to be nothin). While I was waiting I was talkin to a salesman about the MS3. He told me that they are gonna have some "special" program for MSP owners for trade in on MS3. I havent gone back to look into it, not even sure if i want to (prefer a sedan over hatchback), but has anybody else been told anything like this???? :bs: ?

special for the salesman in the effect that you'll get 10k for your trade and he'll sell it right back for 15k to some unsuspecting folk for a fat commission.

uhhh ya you get the discount. i know that you get a discount on financing or lease rates moving into any new mazda(cant remember somewhere between -.5-3%, sizable amount if you are financing the total over 5 years) if you wait a bit the 3 pricing and demand will cool down. Every mazdaspeed vehicle (in canada anyways)has had a $2000 rebate from the manufacturer to the dealer that everyone qualifies for at some time as well. whether your salesman told you this or not is another thing. For example, I bought my speed at the end of 03 so I got the 2000 off as they realize that nobody is running to the dealer to buy them anymore kinda thing and they production run is done. the miata had the same, the 6 either has or will have the same(I havent checked on stuff like this in a while as I changed jobs.) Id wait for like 10 months and then get one if you like it or you will be kicking yourself when it comes time for resale. I paid a few hundred over invoice for my speed and got the 2000k off plus 0% finance etc. lots of discounts just wait a bit. You might also qualify for something small like 200 or 300 off from mazda. They send you all these pamphlets and stuff when you subscribe to the mazda letter thing when you buy a new mazda. they are called loyalty programs. They also add monthly deals and stuff and you can get grad discounts and some other things too.
