Curious. Part out My MSP?

well without getting into details, I Probably would not part out the msp.
But Certain Situations have me "WONDERING"
what would i get for the following parts..

Complete drivetrain,
Motor/Tranny Harness/ECM
Complete with LSD and Turbo


Or parts sepratly?

Things like all 4 wheels and tires (wheels are now winter beaters! not one is in perfect shape)

the front and back seats? In 8/10 shape.

steering wheel?
Intrument cluster


Basicly everythang, Let me know what thangs might go for.

$1000 at best for the engine depending on alot, $1500 for the turbo kit. you could do the whole swap for $2500 as a fair price i think

Im lookin at 4k or more, That could buy out right my chosin next car. 88 Celica all trac.

The thang is, Im jobless right now, Car is 2 months behind on payments, got 30k+ in other debt that is just Catching up way to quickly.

Thinkin of Fileing for BK.
Just trying to get a feel for it, I know i could have the car apart on a weekend.

The seats have NO tears, But need to be Steam cleaned to be in "great" shape again,
The only damage to the car as it stands.
Rear Lip is Scratched Severly on Passenger side. Could be sanded and refineshed.
Trunk has dent right in the middle next to the rear window (from leaving a Rifle Clip In seal area and shutting the trunk.
The Center dash bezel is scratched and chipped
No Origenal Stereo, But BRAND spankin new Sub/amp setup Just replaced by warranty.

All glass is in Great shape, with 35% tint (flawless) EXCEPT windshield(punched 3 times)
Car is going in for 2 New front struts. ANd a thermostat.(warranty)
the Passenger front door has a ding/dent from someone smacking there door into it(small)
Shift Knob is not like it used to be, THe leather is streched a lil and spins (not that bad) and has a weird Hazey shine on one side
The wheels all have curb marks, two are worse then the others because twice now i rolled a tire off while being Off the pavement. last time i was on a fire road on a 2 mile 10-15% grade hill and had to just deal with it to get to a flat surface to change it.

thats about it..... Car has 40.5k as of today. Considering i got it 6 months ago with 21k...


Just not sure about this yet.... really got me thinkin...(glare)

Honestly, you'll make well over 4k if you part the car out piece by piece. A lot people will come looking for little things like the ash tray holder, shift plate, radio bezel, etc etc..... It is a time consuming process, but may not be a bad idea if you truely need money.

Nope. Stock parts only

you should strip it down, remove turbosystem , exhaust everything. then leave it on the corner downtown running with the windows open and go for a walk.
