I have had my Speed wel lover a year now with no problems. Well today on the way home, everytime i hit turbo the car would almost stall itself out. OR gogin down the highway i hit it and the car bogs bad. I am thinking that it has to be a vacum leak someplace but I cant find anything loose. It may be the BOV sticking as well. Any ideas? I though one time the Turbo wastn even spooling at all. Sign of a bad turbo? Or leak>?

It sounds like it could be the wastegate . Search for wastegate on the forums and maybe you'll find your solution there.

That's strange...check the diaphragm of your wastegate. Take off the vac line from BPV and blow into it. If you can freely blow the diaphragm is shot.

What is your boost gauge doing at idle and in boost. I would also say wastegate actuator. Pull the vac hose off and blow into the actuator to check if the diaphram is toast.

vac is 20 at idle(always has been). Now help me out here a bit the hose i blow into is the only vac hose that goes to the Turbo? If thats the case i can blow through it easy.

1. Check if your stock Bpv is well connected & tight. If loose it can cause your car to almost stall and it runs awfull.
2. The vacuum line from the wastegate actuator...could have a slight leak which only gets bigger as the car gets warm or hard acceleration.
These two things happened to me and resulted in the symptoms you have. Especually replacing the vacuum line from the wastegate made a huge difference. When we check mine...it just broke apart in 15 pieces.

It tends to happen to every line that has heat near it. Stupid lines are to brittle, as soon as you put a bit of presure (pull) on them they fall apart. I too believe it's something to do with the wastegate. My car ran poor, bad idle, bogged and was getting crappy MPG apart from sounding almost like a N/A car.

I took off my BOV this morning and stil have the same problem. Looks like off comes the CAI and off to the stealership. My lines are brand new I have silicone on it now. So it has to be waiste gate.

Ahh...I was hoping it was something stupid, like just replacing the vacuum lines or something. Let us know, good luck at the dealer.

Well I have an appointment next Wed but hte car is runnng fine again. I removed the BOV and filled the tank up with gas(no it wasnt empty). The car jerked one time then nothing.
I got on the turbo all day long and no hesitation or any feeling like the engine is coming to a complete stop in Turbo.
May have been bad gas, the BOV or just being a MSP..lol
Still gonna go to the dealer to have it checked out. Even though i am not gonna remove my boost guage and it will prob void my warrenty. Hell i may get talked into a new MS3 or 6

One more thing....this happened to me and it's really dumb but I was having weird hesitations off & on when I still had my stock air box with a knn drop in. I neglected to check the air filter for awhile and it was really dirty. I had my doubts, but I still needed to clean the filter so in the mean time I put a clean stock filter in and the problem went away! Just check your filter for the fun....
