Traded my spicy in for a 2003 Mazda tribute. Dealer gave me 11,500 for trade-in, which I thought was a fair trade. I got the tribute for 4200 w/ tax and title included.

Too much money...we bought an 05 tribute w/ 35,000 miles so we could save cash for baby stuff. 2 of everything get expensive!

Congrats!

I imagine you'll probably find the Tribute to be too small. I have a Saturn VUE (about the same interior space as the Tribute) with a 13 month old. Practice your Tetris skills before packing the Tribute for road trips. It's insane how much stuff kids require. Around town it's fine though.

This is my car to cart the kids to and from daycare. My wife has a bigger vehicle to handle more stuff.

I just traded my MSP for an 02 Envoy SLT w/35,000 fully loaded. I traded mine in because I have a 4 month old daugther. I don't see how a tribute will be enough room for twins. I think you might regret not getting something a little bigger. Anyways congrats on the twins have fun!!!

Sorry I just read your post above saying you have a bigger car. Then the tribute was probaably a good choice!!

Heh, I've seen a Tribute gone on for miiiiiiiiileeeeees.

We used to sell most of them to mail people because of how good they were on the country roads and of course their gas mileage.

BTW, if this is a bash towards Ford, I have to say that we had a 87 year truck that is still trucking. Hauled horses for most of it's life, sold for 500. Also, I now drive a 8X year truck and it's been uber good to me.

Wasn't trying to bash Ford at all! My first car was a Ford probe. Bought it used w/ 65,000 sold it for $500 w/ 205,000 miles on it! Never had any work done to the engine. Granted this car had the mazda 2.0 liter engine but it was still a great car.
