u say its changed alot...only thing i see thats changed...is rims....which i see plenty of civic with same rim type.....and the headlights....which i never liked those type of headlights.....to goddy looking

don't expect good comments from a mazda forum vs a civic..
but, for me, I've only drove one a coupe times, it was my friend's car... something like 99 SI, and let me tell you,
im glad I dont own this car because i would be with so many speeding tickets...
I like my car but the civic SI , FOR ME, is far more fun to drive. there;s something about the clutch.. lol..
I feel bad sayiing this...shoot me :/

some opinions..
I dont want to start a civic vs protege war but:
When i was looking at trading in my truck for a 4 doors car(I GOT twins 8 months ago)
I was looking @ 2 cars..
protege and civic..
I wanted at least 2003 so It would feel like it would last at least a couple years untill my next one.
Sorry but my first choice was civic 4 dr all the way, but it was really more expensive than prot. 03.
thats why I went for protege..good quality, good price..
I had a 99 z24 before "supposed to be 150hp"
I drove a regular 99 civic dx and that thing seemed faster than my z24..!!
all stock.. wtf...
to me, honda are really good engines and we shouldnt be bashing on them...
even if every kids in town has one, they ARE good cars!

Actually the '99 Protege was my mom's and she sold it as it started to have tranny problems (Overdrive light flashing) and it had a rebuilt tittle, then she got the Tribute she currently owns.... Yeah actually the car is ten years old but i have owned it for a year.... and it has a manual transmisson... i would love to do a B18C1 swap and build that engine with forged internals and turbo it, but that is a lot of money... i would rather to use that money in something more useful like college, or a down payment for a house or whatever..

I'm only 17 years old, and this is my very first car and i worked hard and saved to get the car, and to make it what it is now. I originally wanted to get a MX-6 LS-V6 but the ones that were in good condition were too expensive, i only make $6.95/hr at mcdonald's.

i dont know, i dont think they even have a make or something... i got them from a friend for $150, yeah they are scratched and stuff but they are in pretty good condition for $150, but the tires were messed up so i got Fuzion ZRis... pretty nice tire for the price.

Yeah that is my next "mod" to the car, I'm saving for a set of tein s.techs... as i have no money because i had to replace both rear struts, and one is making a clunking noise which drives me crazy, i dont know what might be causing this.
