hey i was just wondering, if i got a fully forged motor and ran about 15psi daily what fuel would i have to run? my buddy has a forged civic and has to put octane booster in each tank so the pistons wont ping.

15psi is fine if you go with 8.5 or lower compression. If you have a good tune as well.

What kind of boost are we talking, and are you gonna be custom tuned? @ 15 psi your stock injectors would most likely be maxed out.

I dont want to "get away" with 91 octane. i want to make sure my motor would be safe if im gonna be spending 5+k on it.

In order for you to get a "Good Tune" you will need better injectors. Those strockers wont do you no good over 12PSI. You could see as much as 230-250 WHP........................ if you get yourself a clutch.

i say around 270-280 to the wheels, your going to need bigger injectors for your ride, and your going to need to weld your lsd or its going to snap, you'll also have problems with your clutch so an upgrade would be in order

I'd say that he'll have a bit more problems than just needing a clutch and bigger injectors when he's gotten to the 250-280whp, I'm starting to loose traction and I don't think I'm near 250whp yet. I've got the clutch, Quaife LSD , motor mounts, bigger turbo at 10psi, full turbo back exhaust and it'll spin the tires at the top of 2nd and 3rd if I let it keep making power. I'm saving up for a Tein coil over set or maybe something else depends on what I like when the time comes.
