just take one for a test drive and bring a ratchet set and a camera, should be all the R and D you need. doubt it would take more than 10-15 to remove/replace behind a kwiki mart

Now the big trick would be to figure out how to get the back seats in too!

Could you guys post a pic. Sorry I have yet to see them. Have been thinking about upgrading my seats. Always nice to have another option.

I dunno if they say MS3 on them or not...don't know what the hell is embroidered on there honestly...but that's what I would assume.

the first time I saw them a while back the only thought that went through my head was when would someone total their MS3 so I can put these seats in my car.

Like I said... the real trick would be to get the backs to fit...maybe I'm just crazy like that, but what's the point of those if they don't match the rest? You could go get a set of Recaro's and get Mazdaspeed embroidered and then get the back seats done in the same material to match

For how nice they feel sitting in them, I would settle for a little mismatch. Who would really notice anyway?

Yeah, last I checked, my whole interior is black and gray. Other than the lack of orange thread (for mine) I don't think most peeps would even notice. They'd be saying, "Killer seats, man!"

Hmm, I wouldn't mind trying to fab up a way to fit those in my Protege, that would be so nice!

The seats in the first pic say MPS. Japan's version of Mazdaspeed.

I really like those. I was pretty disappointed in the MSP seats, my '88 MX-6 seats hugged me more than the MSP ones.

Sorry, I should calrify. The MS3 is referred to as the MPS in certain countries. Like the Protege MPS f past generations...

The seats might not fit with the stock center console. Anyone know the diamentions of the seats themselves?

we are having a delaware meet this mo. And I might be able to get measurements before then (theres an MS3 on the lot, but its sold... so maybe I can ask him when he comes to pick it up if I can measure).
Im all for starting a fab process..... now, if only someone will let me remove to seat to see the bracket used....
