not my fault.

i was going straight on a green light. a lady going in the opposite direction turning left made a left turn on green and i t-boned her.

car is at the shop i work at. so i will be getting paid to work on my own car.

im fine... and for some reason bags did not deploy.

under the hood is even worse.

lots of seam sealer is cracked. passenger side frame rail is swayed waaaay over. intercooler to turbo pipe is piched shut, bpv hose is bent in half, radiator spued everywhere, turbo was whiiiiining when i pulled off to a side road... some other stuff too.



i tboned a 2003 cavalier... her car is in worse shape than mine. u can stick ur hand between her passenger side door and the roof. her door pinched her passenger side seat between her center console.


all this at only 35mph.

wrecked cars are no fun... sorry about your loss... hopefully you can get it back to close to normal and make some kid with short cash feel good with a good running (but quirky) car

Sorry to hear about your wreck man...sucks that you hit a cavalier too. Evidently cavalier drivers just suck in general, or the cars are just destined for accidents. Got any parts for sale?

Anybody get into an accident with a CF hood? I've always wondered how they would react in a front end colision. If so got and pics of it?

I think because the sensors are fairly low in the bumper/front end...seems like most of the impacts the Speeds have had are higher up and crumple the hood.
