well heres the breakdown, now when i got into first or drop back down into second it feels like it doesnt slide into gear right? just feeling pressure for a sec then it goes. umm how hard is it to replace a clutch? i have access to lifts and what not. but what all is needed to do. and which is going to be best?
right now maybe planning on turbo in future.. maybe not i dunno. have cai, c/s catback, ss.
which clutch is best to get?

i would go with an msp oem exedy clutch since you're not bossted yet for now. and you really have to know your stuff to replace a clutch it's no easy job.

If you're planning on a turbo in the future, go for the exedy clutch (NOT THE MSP ONE, a REAL one :P). It's a pretty low price. But yeah.. install = a bitch!

What you're describing is not necessarily a clutch problem. If you have difficulty shifting, it might just be your transmission--just like any other transmisison on a protege :)
