Does the mazdaspeed racing beat rear sway bar have a larger diameter than the stock P5 rear sway bar?? Would this be an improvement if put on a P5??

*raises hand* I have it. You'll want to get the clunk fix bracket pretty quickly though, it makes it ultra-awesome!

Oh and I have sedan endlinks for it. If you have any questions let me know.

Did you notice a difference from stock to the racing beat?? Where would I get the clunk fix bracket?? and what endlinks do you have on yours??

I have OEM endlinks, but the ones from the MSP (same as other sedans).

As for the clunk fix bracket: http://www.autoxracing.com/component/option,com_virtuemart/page,shop.browse/category_id,3/Itemid,2/

prices are in canadian dollars. Oh and it won't work with the AWR sway bars, just the Racing Beat. The AWRs just have to deal with clunking.

$200 bucks for a bracket!!! Damn! Would the AWR endlinks fix that problem? what causes the clunking?? and you never answered me if it made a difference or not with the new bar??

Yeah it makes a difference, especially with the bracket. I know it sounds like a lot for the bracket but yeah it's reeeeally nice. The endlinks aren't what cause the clunk, so they won't fix it. I'm on OEM endlinks no problem, and no clunk. The clunk is caused by the position of the oem brackets that mount the bar to the chassis. They are way too close together, and they give the bar enough room that instead of rotating, it bends. It binds with the bushings in the brackets too and rubs through the red coating on the bar.. squeaking and clunking. It's impossible to keep it lubricated enough without taking off the brackets every couple weeks to lube.. who wants to do that? The clunk fix bracket has grease fittings on it so you can lube it with a grease gun no disassembly required.

So do you have the clunk fix bracket?? or does just having the OEM sedan endlinks fix the problem??

endlinks don't do anything to help or hurt the clunking problem from what I've seen. It's the brackets bolting it to the chassis that cause the problem. And yes, I do have the clunkfix bracket and it's the highest quality suspension piece I've ever touched with my own hands. It's awesome.

Sadly all will have the issue because it's an issue with where the brackets for rear sway bars are located.

if you wanna feel a big difference get the Front Swaybar off an MP3 (25mm) or an MSP (26mm). I got the MP3 front sway and it makes the front feel waaay more planted. Its a big bitch putting in. I put in the AWR 19mm rear sway 2 or 3 years back and i really didn't notice the rear too much.

I'm talking about the MP3 Front Sway Bar, I got ground controls 2 years and those are pretty loud. So any clunks and I have I associate with those. Who gives a shit if it clunks.

Because the rear sway bar clunk is just a symptom of a larger problem, which is that the sway bar bends before it rotates.

the racing beat/MSP is 20 mm, so yes it does give an improvement.
