View Full Version : how to remove P5 "trunk panels" ?

I have done a search and looked thru other how to threads, but I am looking for a how to on removing the rear plastic panels in a p5 so I can get to and adjust my ksport's struts....Most howto's just say to "remove panels"...Does anyone have pics? I am just afraid of braking the clips and such....

Lean seats forward. List up on rear caps where seatbelts disappear into. The unsnap really easily. Cant brake them. I used a flathead to get initial leverage.
Start unsnapping all the little circle snaps all the way around. Even along the rear door catch.
Lift up on the rear center piece first. It all just unsnaps.
Now you cant pull up the sides.
The seat belt has 4 nuts over the shock tower on the left side, and 3 on the right side. Unscrew them. Then there are more underneath that as well. There you go.
