for those who have a recirc. BOV on your speed6, does the HKS make that "PSSSIIT" sound?
I need to know...

What's the difference if we VTA, I mean...it doesn't affect performance or reliability does it..I am a turbo newb obviously so a little knowledge is always good.
Thanks

I'm switched to VTA just so I could look at the AFR on my wideband(new toy:cool:) when shifting. It swings about 2~3 full points rich after every shift, from low 13's high 12's down to the low 10's--even when I'm barely in boost it'll swing way rich after a shift . There is a definate performance hit after every shift.
I love the VTA sound, but It's not worth the performance loss. I'll be switching back to VTA on monday.

That didnt make much sense, so you are switching back to recirc right?

Seems VTA causes back-fire and makes the car run rich for a couple seconds on each shift while its venting, probably causeing a stalling effect also
Seems recirc would be safe, but not as good as sound as VTA
What size recirc are you guys using? 1" or 1.25" ?

The reason why your seeing rich A/F ratio on your wideband is because your MAF is pre-turbo, and when they BOV is releasing pressure, it's actually releasing the air that the MAF thought it will go into the motor. Only way to fix that is to move your MAF behind the BOV.

so if you move the maf sensor in front of the bov then no stalling or running rich everything will work as if you were running recirc?
