I want to mold the MSP front lip to the front bumper instead of bolting it on. Maybe even shave the edges down a little bit too so its all flush and repaint the whole thing so its one piece. Has anyone done this? Of course I would bring it to a body shop to get painted, but could I do the molding part myself? What products do I need to get this done? Thanks

i actually mplded my 03.5 lip on.. i filled all the edges with polyfill and then got it painted. looked awesome as one peice but i hit it one day with my foot not hard really at all when i was doing engine work and it cracked very easily. there is a guy on my canada site that has it done i will see about pics since i dont have any on my new computer. since then i have bought the bc2 kit .

the quote to mold my dg lip on w/o paint was 600 dollars. but it would be done right and guarenteed not to crack. it is expensive to mold urothaine(i know i cant spell) and have it durable.

ive seen this once before, but in the end the results werent that great. seemed to be that when its molded together, the pieces wouldnt flex independantly, and as soon as you go over a curb or speedbump too fast, it would crack, and look horrible. But that may have been how he/she ( i cant remember which) had it done. But that was a looong time ago.
